There are many common command line tools and software’s are available to work with MySQL and phpMyAdmin. Working with MySQL and phpMyAdmin together lets you backup MySQL databases too, with easy export method.
There is one major role of phpMyAdmin too. It enables you to create databases and tables as many as you like using graphic user interface (GUI). it is fully web interface software and it is fueled with one good feature that is import and export feature for MySQL databases or individual tables .
Steps to backup MySQL Database from phpMyAdmin Interface:
Here, we have created few steps to backup MySQL database using phpMyAdmin interface, follow this simple steps and get your exported MySQL database backup file within a minutes.
Step 1 : Navigate to your web server Control panel and find out phpMyAdmin.

Now you will get your whole database details in one window, simply click on the database which you want to back up from left panel of that page.
Step 2 : Now click on the Export Tab button from top tab bar in phpMyAdmin ( See the image to understand it)
Step 3 : on the export settings page its default configuration settings will be displayed as below.
Export method : Select Quick ( It will load all default settings ) , if you are developer and have knowledge with MySQL then go for custom.
Format : Specify the file format, the database will be downloaded using your specified file format. Select SQL if you are just using it as backup purpose.
You can backup MySQL database details in Microsoft excel format too. All you need to Select “CSV For MS Excel” Format from drop down options and you will get .CSV extension file of your MySQL database.
